Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship

Wittenberg University invites applications for the Ness Endowed Chair in
Entrepreneurship in the department of Management.  This tenure-track
faculty position will have rank commensurate with the credentials of the
successful candidate - position beginning August 2009.  Ph.D. in
Entrepreneurship, or Management or Economics with a concentration in
entrepreneurship preferred. Business experience preferred.

Responsibilities include leadership in the development of an
entrepreneurship program within the context of a university strategic
plan committed to providing experiential learning opportunities and
fully integrating the Management program with the liberal arts and other
disciplines, teaching entrepreneurship and other classes and serving as
faculty director of WittEnterprises.  As director of WittEnterprises,
the Ness Chair will supervise student-run business initiatives and
network with professionals within business and non-profit sectors.  The
Ness Chair also will serve as an academic and career advisor.
Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated aptitude for
teaching and mentoring undergraduates.
