Two Positions for Ph.D. Students in Entrepreneurship & Technology
Commercialization

The Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization (ENTC) of
Prof. Dr. Marc Gruber at the College of Management of Technology of EPFL
invites applications for two Ph.D. student positions.

The Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) is one of the two
Federal Institutes of Technology in Switzerland. Within EPFL, the
College of Management of Technology is a center of excellence for
research and education in management, finance and economics.

ENTC is engaged in research and teaching in the fields of
entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. Drawing on
theoretical lenses offered by organization theory, strategic management
theory and marketing theory, we pursue several research activities
studying entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. Our emphasis
is on rigorous empirical research. 

We expect
*	An excellent master's level degree, preferably in a management
discipline, or a joint management/technical degree. Knowledge of the
area of entrepreneurship and of econometric methods is welcome, yet not
necessary.
*	A sincere interest in high-level academic research in
entrepreneurship 
*	Proficiency in English, strong team spirit, social skills,
strong motivation

The PhD position will typically span four years, including doctoral
coursework. Dissertation, coursework and student projects will all be in
