We are happy to announce that the date for Abstract submissions for the Mini Track on Social Media and Innovation (European Conference on Social Media 2015) has been extended, submissions are now due to end on the
10th of January 2015.

Mini Track chairs:

Dr. Irina Purcarea, ESC Rennes School of Business, France and Dr. Luisa Carvalho, Open University, Lisbon, Portugal


Topics can include but are not limited to:

• Early adopters and diffusion of innovation
• Web 2.0: a new wave for innovation
• Social media and product innovation
• Business value and adoption of innovation
• Trends in early stage of adoption
• E-marketing
• Social media and the product life cycle
• Social media innovation strategies
• The power of social media in open innovation
• Case studies of social media innovation projects in specific industries
• Social project management. Tools in managing social innovation projects


Papers presented at the conference will also be considered for publication in a special issue of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management :
