Abstract Submission
Scholars and practitioners—including lenders, technical assistance providers, and policymakers—engaged in research related to small business and entrepreneurship are invited to submit abstracts. Presenters are encouraged to address an array of topics as they relate to small business and entrepreneurship, including but not limited to job dynamics; market dynamics; access to financial resources; women- and minority-owned firms; community and economic development; human capital; immigration; social capital and networks; and local, state, national, and international policies and regulations.

Theoretical and empirical papers, including methodologically sophisticated case studies, are welcome. Submissions should be new research not already accepted for publication in an academic or practitioner journal. Papers that can link the above topics to policy-relevant implications will receive top priority.

To be considered, submit a PDF file with a detailed abstract at www.kauffman.org/sbe. Conference details and submission guidelines are available on this Web site.

The deadline to submit an abstract is midnight (EST), July 1, 2010. Conference organizers will notify presenters by the middle of August, and will require final papers by Monday, September 20, 2010.
