Summer School on Psychology of Entrepreneurship 

Date: June 20 – July 3, 2010 
Site: Prague, the Czech Republic 
Organiser: University of Economics, Prague in collaboration with K.U.Leuven, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Technical University Dresden, University of Silesia, John Paul II. Catholic University of Lublin, and National Distance Learning University Spain (UNED) 

This summer school "Psychology of Entrepreneurship" brings together professors, entrepreneurs, investors and university students from different European countries. It is intended for master and 1st year doctoral students who are interested to learn more about psychological approaches to entrepreneurship and plan to follow career as entrepreneurs or entrepreneurship teachers. Topics include the entrepreneurial process; motivation, competences, and personality characteristics of entrepreneurs; opportunity recognition and development; presenting business plans to investors, internet marketing for new ventures, entrepreneurial planning and social entrepreneurship. As part of the course participants will also visit a business incubator, prepare business concepts and receive feedback on these from experienced investors. 

Language: English 
Fee: 840€ includes 10 days of educational programme, educational materials, accommodation, lunches, handbook, leisure activities, and local transportation costs. 

Application deadline: April 19, 2010. Applicants meeting the criteria are accepted on "first come first served basis". A maximum of 5 participants from other than partner universities will be accepted in the course.
