The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business
invites applications for a tenure track faculty position (academic rank
to be determined) to commence August 2009. Responsibilities include
classroom and online teaching in the areas of
entrepreneurship/management, international business, and research
methods at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Involvement in
scholarly and university/community activities is emphasized along with
student advising and curriculum development. Normal teaching load is
four courses per semester.

Required: An earned doctorate in Management (or related field) from an
accredited institution with a background and interest in
entrepreneurship. Applicants with ABD in the final stages of
dissertation completion will be considered. The candidate must have
strong evidence of teaching effectiveness at the university level and
effective oral and written communication skills. The candidate will
demonstrate scholarship. Desired: Experience teaching on-campus and
online courses, entrepreneurial and international teaching and/or
business experience, evidence of being a team player, and professional
engagement.

The College of Business is a growing unit with twenty-seven faculty
members and approximately 750 undergraduate students, majoring in
management, marketing, international business, management information
systems, accounting, finance, virtual business, and business education
and 70 graduate students in the Master of Science in Management (MSM)
and Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) programs. The
undergraduate management degree is currently offered on campus, online,
and in Bismarck, North Dakota. The College of Business is initially
accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business
Education (IACBE). Minot State University is a regional, comprehensive
institution of 3,600 students. Minot, North Dakota, is a progressive
community of 35,000 that offers outstanding quality of life features not
normally associated with a community of this size. Compensation: Salary
and rank based upon evaluation and experience. Review of applications
