Appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale: €37,343 - €75,365 / €77,875 - €85,599 per annum. The commencing salary will not exceed point
9 i.e. €54,833 per annum, at a point to accord with the qualifications and experience to date.

Background to the post

This post arises within the context of the Initiative on Social Entrepreneurship in the School of Business, Trinity College. Building on growing research and teaching in the area of Social Entrepreneurship in the School and the increasing interest in, and practice of Social Entrepreneurship in Irish society, this Initiative brings together the School’s Centre for Nonprofit Management and the nonprofit organisation, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. Together, the School of Business and Social Entreprenuers Ireland have committed to an initial five-year programme to provide an intellectual ‘home’ for research on social entrepreneurial activity, education on the practice of social entrepreneurship and dialogue on the role of social entrepreneurship activity in Irish society.
