Post Doctoral Fellowship

The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise development is seeking
to appoint a replacement full-time RCUK Research Fellow, for remaining 2
years of the Fellowship, to undertake interdisciplinary research in
entrepreneurship. This opportunity would be open to candidates who have
successfully completed their doctorate. The successful candidate would
primarily be engaged in research and publication in refereed journals,
but would contribute to teaching as appropriate. The successful
candidate will have completed a PhD in entrepreneurship, small business,
economics or a related discipline. Ideally the candidate would have
knowledge and experience of both quantitative and qualitative
methodologies and an interest in business development and or the
evolution of government funding of business support.

Established in 2003, on the strength of a number of years engagement
with the NW business community, the Institute for Entrepreneurship and
Enterprise Development (IEED) lies within Lancaster University's 6*
Management School. Its core research areas include entrepreneurial
learning, innovation and networks, social enterprise, franchising and
family business. Teaching spans undergraduate, post graduate and post
experience provision and has been innovative in its ongoing engagement
with business. The Institute has successfully attracted significant
funding from European and regional funding agencies and research
councils.

IEED aligns it's research, teaching and business partnerships. This
involves encouraging a close relationship between its research output
and its third mission work.
