£21682 - £25135 per annum (Grade 5)

This is a full time position of 35 hours per week

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans, Deputy Director, Centre for Advanced Studies.

Main Function of Post:	To work on different projects within the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor research project, most notably (a) the 2007 Welsh small firm survey and the (b) growth firms case studies.
	
Job Description:
*	To conduct literature searches and review relevant material.
*	To analyse quantitative data generated by the GEM project and other studies through utilising spreadsheet and statistical packages.
*	To carry out fieldwork, including structured or semi-structured telephone or face-to-face interviewing.
*	To create and manage databases.
*	To undertake qualitative data analysis using appropriate software packages such as NUDIST.
*	To contribute to report writing with fellow members of the GEM team.
*	To work efficiently in a collaborative and multidisciplinary research environment.
*	To prepare scientific papers of international standard. 
*	To present work to audiences from the academic, public and private sectors.
*	You may be asked to perform other duties related to the National Entrepreneurship Observatory's research work which are not included above, but which will be consistent with the role.
