The Faculty of Business, Law and the Built Environment has undergone substantial structural change in the last year, including the establishment of Salford Business School, the launch of Salford Law School and the expansion of the School of the Built Environment.  The Faculty faces great opportunities and challenges over the next five years and seeks to make a number of strategic appointments to build on its established strengths and enhance its reputation.  The Faculty has two 6* rated research institutes and one 5* rated research group.
 
The successful candidate will provide academic and managerial leadership in the areas of entrepreneurship and creativity, including leading the University's recently created Centre for Enterprise and Innovation Research.  The postholder will be expected to make a significant contribution to the School's enterprise activities and to take a lead role in developing the curriculum such that enterprise is one of the key themes of the School's academic programmes and one of its key research strengths.
 
Candidates who do not yet meet the University's professorial criteria may be appointed to Reader on Senior Lecturer Salary Scale which ranges from £40,335 - £46,758 per annum.
