Knowledge intensive Entrepreneurship / International Management

The major education activities of NIKOS are in the field of entrepreneurship, marketing, strategy and international management. NIKOS participates in Bachelor (minors), Master and post-experience programs offered by the BBT Faculty as well as by other schools. NIKOS' research activities are embedded in the research program "Innovation at the National, Sectoral and Organizational Level" and include the areas of knowledge-intensive / high-tech entrepreneurs in networks, entrepreneurship & SME development, international business, global start-up and cooperation. Closely linked to NIKOS' education and research activities are it’s (inter)national projects for business development support and its international cooperation programs with institutes around the world. Profile

You have an education in business administration and hold a PhD degree based on research in a relevant subject, having affinity with technology. You have experience in publishing in international refereed journals, and you pursue an academic career based on high level research processes. You are familiar with standard qualitative and quantitative research methods, and preferably have extensive knowledge on more specialised methods such as network analysis, Structural Equation Modelling, or other methods and techniques. You have teaching experience (teaching certificate), are a team player and open to students of different faculties. You speak fluent English (and within two years also Dutch).

Offer

We offer a fulltime employment, initially for two years. After this period the contract may be extended to an indefinite period, subject to review. The salary is between € 3024 and € 4705 gross per month, depending on your working experience and level of education, and based on the function profiles assistant professor 1 and (or) 2. Next to this we offer several secondary benefits, including a holiday allowance (an extra month of salary). The labour agreements are in accordance with the CAO-NU for Dutch universities.
