2006 Technology Transfer Society Conference - Atlanta
Call for Papers

Technology Transfer Society (T2S) Annual Conference, Georgia Institute
of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, Wednesday, September 27 - Friday,
September 29, 2006

The Technology Transfer Society (T2S) will hold its 2006 annual meetings
and conference at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, Atlanta,
Georgia, USA, September 27-29, 2006.  The theme of the conference is
Next Generation Innovation: New Approaches and Policy Designs.
Particular areas of interest include:

* New Developments in University-Industry Relationships
* Assessing Multidisciplinary Science Centers
* Innovations in University-based Technical Assistance
* New Strategies for Technology-Based Local and Regional Economic
Development
* Technology Transfer to and from the Public Sector
* Innovations in Technology-Based Entrepreneurship Policies and Programs
* Linking Technology Development to Societal Outcomes
* Fostering Creative Knowledge Environments and Organizations for
Science and Technology
* Trajectories for Emerging Technologies - Insights from and for Bio,
Nano, and Other New Technologies
* New Methods and Tools for Assessing Technology Transfer
* International Developments and Linkages in Technology Transfer  

Those wishing to organize and chair a session related to one of the
above areas of interest, or to offer a relevant new topic, should submit
a proposal (title of the session, brief description of the session, and
names, affiliations, and email addresses of the three paper presenters).

Those wishing to present a paper that fits within one of the above areas
of interest, should submit an abstract (title of the paper, 100 to 150
words description, area of interest to which the paper relates, and
presenter affiliation and email information).

All session proposals, paper proposals and abstracts should be submitted
electronically not later than Friday, May 12, 2006 to
t2s200 at pubpolicy.gatech.edu 

The 2006 Technology Transfer Society Conference will be organized by the
Georgia Tech School of Public Policy in conjunction with Georgia Tech
Economic Development and Technology Ventures. More information about the
2006 meetings and conference, including registration information, will
