Call for Papers - World Review of Entrepreneurship, Management and Sustainable Development (WREMSD)- Special Issue on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development in Transition Economies
Guest Editor: David Pollard, University of Abertay, UK
Deadline: 30 June 2006
Entrepreneurial and small business activities in transition economies have expanded significantly since the beginning of the post-socialist period, this expansion has been influenced inter alia by changing domestic conditions and interventions by a range of institutions and firms. Entrepreneurship in transition economies has also given rise to a burgeoning literature that contains debates on such factors as start-up conditions, overcoming entrepreneurial knowledge deficiencies and institutional development. Issues of sustainability have been relatively less well addressed.
