Liebe Mitglieder der Sektion Migrationssoziologie der DGS,

Liebe Abonnent:innen des Newsletters, 

auf dem 43. DGS-Kongress konnten wir uns die Zustimmung zur Namensänderung
durch die verbleibenden Gremien der DGS sichern. Wir heißen also ab sofort
Sektion Migrationssoziologie. Wir sind dabei, die Umbenennung in unserem
Webauftritt sowie in Mail-Adressen und Logo abzubilden und bitten noch um
etwas Geduld.

Auch die Planungen für unsere Sektionstagungen im nächsten Jahr laufen
bereits und wir werden Ihnen hierzu bald mehr mitteilen.

Dear members of the Migration and Ethnic Minorities Section of the DGS,

Dear Newsletter Subscribers,

At the 43rd DGS Congress, we secured approval for the name change from all
DGS committees. As of now, we are officially the Sociology of Migration
Section. We are currently updating our website, email addresses, and logo to
reflect the new name. Please bear with us for a little while longer.

Planning for our section conferences next year is already underway, and
we’ll share more details with you soon.
