The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde Business School invites applications for two posts: 
 
Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Family Business (tenure track)
This post is designed to strengthen the department's research base and contribute to the University's strategic ambition to be recognised as a leading technological university. The appointee is expected to be an experienced researcher within the area of entrepreneurship and /or family business ownership, capable of developing a research agenda within the department around this theme and contributing to Strathclyde Business School's cross-departmental teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities. This post reflects the University's aim to combine excellence with relevance. The appointee is expected to have demonstrable academic expertise and a keen interest in developing entrepreneurship research and teaching activities within the University, therefore a relevant PhD (or PhD imminently pending) in entrepreneurship or in a social science subject with a focus on family or household issues is essential. Lecturer in Entrepreneurship (one-year fixed term)
This post is a one-year fixed term Lectureship required as maternity cover for an existing staff member. The appointee is expected to be able to teach and undertake research within the area of entrepreneurship, and contribute to the Department's undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in entrepreneurship. Prior experience of teaching entrepreneurship, particularly from an experiential perspective, would be an advantage. The appointee is expected to have demonstrable academic expertise and a keen interest in developing entrepreneurship research and teaching activities within the University, therefore a relevant PhD (or PhD imminently pending) is essential. The Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship is the University's newest academic department, endowed by Sir Tom Hunter for the study, research and encouragement of entrepreneurship within Scotland. Its mission is to provide Strathclyde people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to practice entrepreneurship; undertake research in entrepreneurship that combines excellence and relevance; and promote entrepreneurship as a socially desirable career option to students, staff and the Strathclyde community.
