Dear Fabian,

I am not at all clear about how you will be able to chart the development of networks by survey. First development implies time, so a snap shot won't be much help. Secondly, networks are very social in their nature, so it is likely to very difficult to meaningfully operationalise the concept in context. Surely a qualitative approach is more likely to help you understand the development?

Sincerely

Dear Fabian,

For your second problem you better check the study of Lumpkin and Dess 1996,
and Lumpkin and Dess 2001. Specifically the scales are originally based from
the book Khandwalla 1977. If you need any queries please do not hesitate to
ask.

Best regards and good luck.
