Second International Workshop on Entrepreneurship, Culture, Finance, and Economic Development

Research in entrepreneurship and small business has grown considerably during the last decade. The conditions generated by the global financial crisis have triggered the analysis of the role played by entrepreneurs in economic growth during downturns.

Variations in entrepreneurial behaviour within and across societies may account for different rates of growth, productivity, development, and therefore differences in the speed of economic recovery from the crisis. In this context, the 2nd International Workshop on Entrepreneurship, Culture, Finance and Economic Development will become a forum for discussing recent research conducted on entrepreneurship and small business. This workshop was preceded by the 1st Entrepreneurship, Culture, Finance and Economic Development developed at Caen University in the summer 2008. The exchange of ideas will be beneficial for both academics and students, providing an adequately environment to motivate joint collaborations. The event will take place in Cartagena (Spain) from 17th to 18th June 2010. 

The aim of the workshop is to discuss high quality papers in all topics related to entrepreneurship. All papers are peer reviewed prior to acceptance for the workshop which contributes to an improvement of the papers and makes the sessions more dynamic. Papers have to be presented in English. 

The deadline for submission is 20th February 2010.

The registration fee is E100 and includes attendance, documentation, 1 lunch, 2 dinners and coffee breaks.

We welcome empirical papers in all areas of Entrepreneurship.

Deadline for Submission

The deadline for submission of papers is 20th February 2010.

Authors will be notified of the acceptance by 30th March 2010.

We kindly ask authors to make the submission in Microsoft Word format, although we will also accept submissions as Adobe pdf files.
