STRATEGY & ENTREPRENEURSHIP/TIM - JOINT CALL

The Department of Management at Bocconi University is recruiting at the Assistant Professor level. Positions involve both research and teaching activities in the areas of:

-  Business Policy and Strategy / Entrepreneurship: previous research experience or an interest in pursuing research in strategic management of the family firm, or in governance and entrepreneurial dynamics of private, family-controlled and closely-held firms will be particularly appreciated.

- Technology and Innovation Management: previous research experience or an interest in pursuing research in Technology strategy, Innovation management, or New Product Development will be particularly appreciated.

Bocconi University, located in Milano, is Italy's most renowned centre for economic and management studies, and a leading European business school (www.unibocconi.eu). Research at Bocconi explores phenomena at the forefront of the transformation of industries, markets and firms, trying to balance intellectual freedom, methodological rigor and practical relevance. The Department of Management encourages the convergence and cross-fertilization of research in the fields of strategy, entrepreneurship, organization theory, organizational behaviour, marketing, innovation, and technology management.

Applicants should demonstrate a potential for excellence in research. No specific teaching record is required, but candidates are expected to perform high-quality teaching, and to have pronounced communication and teaching skills. Candidates should have recently completed (or be near completion of) their PhD. Knowledge of Italian is not required; preference will be given to the most qualified candidates. Compensation will be competitive with other international schools.
