ESRC CASE Studentships in Social Enterprise
1. Innovation and peer learning between social enterprises:
Collaboration and relationships for maximising social and environmental
impacts of development trusts with Development Trust Association
2. Social Enterprise and Employment Opportunities for Homeless People -
Middlesex University Business School in collaboration with CRISIS, the
national charity for single homeless people
The Social Enterprise Research Cluster, a consortium led by Middlesex
University Business School with the Department of Geography, University
of Durham and South Bank University, is a major ESRC backed programme to
build research skills and capacity related to social enterprise.
As part of this exciting programme Middlesex University has 2 doctoral
level CASE studentships (+3) (starting in October 2009)
We welcome applications from candidates who have:
- A good honours degree, preferably in a relevant social science,
business or management area
- A MRes or other recognised postgraduate research qualification or
experience demonstrably equivalent to this
- Familiarity with the social enterprise and small business sector
- Work experience in a relevant third sector or business setting.
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the ESRC UK residency requirements
