Good morning everyone,

When conducting empirical research it is quite often a good idea to relate one's work to prior studies and to "borrow" scales that have already been validated by others. At the moment, I am aware of at least three reference books containing such validated scales that may be useful for entrepreneurship researchers:

a) Bearden and Netemeyer: Handbook of Marketing Scales: Multi-Item Measures for Marketing and Consumer Behavior Research, 1999.
b) Fields: Taking the Measure of Work; A Guide to Validated Scales for Organizational Research and Diagnosis, 2002.
c) Roth, Schroeder, Huang and Kristal: Handbook of Metrics for Research in Operations Management: Multi-item Measurement Scales and Objective Items, 2007.

Does somebody know of other reference books containing validated scales that could be useful in the entrepreneurship/SME setting?

Thanks you, every suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Andreas
