Ashoka's Global Academy for Social Entrepreneurship has developed a "Social Entrepreneurship Teaching Resources Handbook" in partnership with Debbi Brock, a professor on the Advisory Council for the University Network for Social Entrepreneurship. This is a main resource we recommend to help faculty navigate through the web of case-studies, readings and various pedagogical models. The second half of the Handbook is the "Global Faculty Directory," which profiles over 350 professors actively engaged in social entrepreneurship teaching and research around the world.

In addition, oikos and Ashoka joined forces to promote the creation of high quality teaching cases on Social Entrepreneurship. The competition welcomes entries from all parts of the world. Submitted case studies should be suitable for use in management education. The first prize is CHF 5000.-, written feedback is being provided for each submitted case. The winner will be invited to present his case at the Skoll Forum for Social Entrepreneurship 2009. Submission deadline: Nov. 30, 2008.
