Two Tenure Track Positions in Technological Entrepreneurship

The MIT Sloan School of Management is seeking faculty candidates for two
tenure-track positions in Technological Entrepreneurship.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates for entry positions should have or be near completion of
their PhD, or those who are one to three years out of school, are
preferred. More senior candidates will also be considered for more
senior faculty appointments at MIT Sloan. All candidates should have
strong disciplinary background, with demonstrated research
accomplishment and primary research focus on technological innovation in
early-stage companies. The position requires teaching in the area of
technological entrepreneurship.

Candidates may have doctoral training in the organization and behavioral
sciences, or economics. The unique candidate with a doctorate in
engineering or the physical or life sciences would be of special
interest if she/he has already shown an ability to conduct scholarly
research in managerial/organizational aspects of emerging science-
and/or technology-related companies. A rich understanding of important
phenomena in entrepreneurship is desirable, as is an interest in
empirical studies of entrepreneurs and/or their organizations.

The successful candidate may be appointed jointly in an appropriate MIT
Sloan disciplinary group in addition to the Technological Innovation &
Entrepreneurship Group.
