Business School Graduate Teaching Assistants - Entrepreneurship & Innovation (Two posts)

These posts will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of three years.

Nottingham University Business School is one of the UK's leading business schools and a globally ranked centre for management education and research at one of the UK's most successful universities.  Located on the award winning Jubilee Campus, close to the University Park campus, the School offers undergraduate, MBA, Masters, PhD, and executive education programmes and conducts world-class research in attractive, state-of-the-art facilities.  The School achieved a Grade 5 in the 2001 RAE and its teaching is rated as excellent by HEFCE.

The School wishes to appoint two Business School Graduate Teaching Assistants in the area of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.  Current research areas within the division include:

- Entrepreneurial creativity and discontinuous innovation
- Entrepreneurship education
- The financing of entrepreneurship and small and medium sized enterprises
- Serial entrepreneurs
- Academic entrepreneurship
- Venture capital and equity gaps
- Entrepreneurship and strategy

The successful candidates will be expected to undertake teaching assistance up to a maximum of 120 class-based contact hours per annum and will also be registered for a PhD.  The School will pay full-time tuition fees at the UK/EU rate.  These posts provide an opportunity to undertake PhD research in a leading Business School with a well established PhD programme.  Graduates of the programme are in demand in both academic and non-academic roles.

Candidates should have a good honours degree in a relevant discipline (minimum 2:1) and hold, or expect to have obtained by Autumn 2008, a Masters qualification in a relevant subject (average over 60%).
