The University of Aberdeen Business School (UABS) was created in August
2002 from the disciplines of Management Studies, Accountancy and
Finance, Economics and Property. To continue to build on its
international reputation, the School has significant ambitions for
future development, in line with the University's goal of being a top
100 global institution.

The Chair in Entrepreneurship at the University of Aberdeen has been
established as part of the Scottish Programme for Entrepreneurship
(SPE), an initiative jointly funded by the Hunter Foundation and the
Scottish Government. The Programme comprises of four components - a
co-ordinated programme of policy and performance research, a one year
master's programme in entrepreneurship, development of entrepreneurship
in education for undergraduate programmes and support for
entrepreneurship education in schools and further education.

This is part of an ambitious programme to develop entrepreneurship in
Scotland, and involves collaboration among the Universities of Aberdeen,
Edinburgh and Strathclyde. The SPE is also supporting two further
teaching and research posts at the University of Aberdeen Business
School.

Salary will be at an appropriate placement according to qualifications
and experience.
