Call for Papers
2008 LEWI & IIBD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
LEWI, IIBD & Hong Kong Baptist University
Deadline: 30 June 2008
 
Wing Lung Bank International Institute for Business Development (IIBD), David C. Lam Institute for East-West Studies (LEWI), and the School of Business of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) are organising a two-day international conference on innovation and entrepreneurship. Academic scholars, doctoral students and others interested in entrepreneurship related research are welcome to attend the Conference.

The Conference is organised around the broad theme of innovation and entrepreneurship. We also encourage papers on innovation in social entrepreneurship as well as new directions in entrepreneurial education in emerging nations. We welcome previously unpublished papers as well as case studies that address theoretical concepts and general issues in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Papers can be either conceptual or empirical. All submissions will be peer reviewed and will undergo a selection process. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

The two-day Conference to be held from Wednesday to Thursday, 12 - 13 November 2008 at Hong Kong Baptist University, will include paper sessions and plenary sessions where delegates will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with entrepreneurs and corporate executives from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, and other countries.

Submission Guidelines:
You may submit either a full paper, unpublished previously, by 30 June 2008, to be refereed, OR you may submit an abstract (500 words) by 1 April 2008. Each submission should include author's brief bio, institution affiliation, mailing address, telephone number, fax number and email address. Upon receiving the acceptance, the author will need to submit the full paper by 30 June 2008. Acceptance of papers will depend on the recommendations of referees, and final notification will be made by 31 July 2008.
