The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group at Tanaka Business School is one of Europe's leading research Centres in technological innovation and technology-based venturing. It collaborates with globally-leading companies, universities, and public sector agencies to produce rigorous, cutting-edge research about all aspects of innovation management, entrepreneurship, and technological innovation.

We are now searching for at least six outstanding individuals who aspire to launch careers in academia as Research Associates within the Group. The successful candidates will have a PhD (or near completion), a strong command of social science research methods, and keen interest in technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and design. The successful candidates will demonstrate strong skills in either qualitative research (e.g., grounded theory method; multiple case method; content analysis) and/or in quantitative methods (state-of-the-art statistical analysis methods, excellent command of database, survey and archival research), as well as ability to publish in internationally-leading scientific journals. Past research and practical experience in innovation entrepreneurship, technology management, and/or international business is desirable.

Successful candidates will play a significant role in the research group, be highly motivated, and show strong team-work and organisational skills. They will show passion for technological innovation and technology-based venturing and be committed to generating knowledge that has a global impact.
