Call for Papers - Family Enterprise Research Conference
April 27-29, 2007 Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Please join us for the 3rd Annual Family Firm Enterprise Conference (FERC). The theme for 2007 is Governance in the Family Firm, but we invite all topics relevant to the study of family businesses. In addition to paper presentations, FERC welcomes submissions for panels. Keynote addresses by renowned experts will focus on the theme of governance. The opening keynote speaker will be Professor David Whetten, Brigham Young University.
Empirical studies should include clear explanations of theoretical underpinnings. Submissions will be blind reviewed for presentation in poster or roundtable format sessions. Members of the 2007 FERC Review Board will evaluate the papers for relevance of research questions, rigor of analysis, and soundness and value of conclusions. Papers submitted to this conference will be reviewed for a Special Issue of the Journal of Management Studies.

* Max. pages: 25 including references, tables, appendices
* Spacing: Body - double-spaced; Appendices - single-spaced
* Page set-up: 12 point font, 1 inch margins
* Coversheet: Include contact info for all authors;
