Nottingham University Business School is a leading centre for management education and research and forms part of one of the most successful universities in the UK.  The School is located in state-of-the-art premises on the award winning Jubilee Campus, a few minutes from the University Park campus.  A second Business School building opened in 2004.

The School conducts world-class research and achieved a Grade 5 in the 2001 RAE.  Its teaching has been rated as excellent by HEFCE.  As part of its on-going development, the School has recruited to a significant number of new posts and currently has 31 Professors.  Apart from its UK based operations, the Business School is involved with the delivery of programmes at the University of Nottingham China Campus (Ningbo), the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus and in Singapore.  The current vacancies reflect the School's commitment to continued expansion and enhancement of its status and reputation as a leading international Business School.

Entrepreneurship Division

The School wishes to appoint to the above post within the Entrepreneurship Division.  The current research interests of the Division include debt and equity finance, management buyouts, serial and habitual entrepreneurs, innovation and the pedagogy of entrepreneurship education.  The Division is also committed to a significant expansion of entrepreneurship teaching and learning across the University at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

A PhD in a relevant area is essential, along with significant industrial experience at management level.  Candidates must have a track record in teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels as well as research in entrepreneurship with publications in relevant journals.  A history of successful research funding applications is also desirable.

Salary, depending on qualifications and experience, will be within the range:

* Associate Professor scale: £39,935 - £47,685 per annum (salary can progress to £56,923 per annum, subject to performance).
