The Department of Management and Marketing at The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University invites applications for a Professor position in Management.
We are seeking to appoint a senior academic with research and teaching
interests in Strategic Management and/or Entrepreneurship. 

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)	engage in scholarly research/high level consultancy;
(b)	supervise research students;
(c)	teach and contribute to curriculum development at undergraduate
and postgraduate levels;
(d)	provide academic leadership in teaching and research-related
activities; and
(e)	establish and maintain contacts with industry, commerce, and/or
the professions, and with the wider academic community.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)	an earned doctoral degree;
(b)	substantial academic achievement, demonstrated through research
and scholarship, high-level consultancy or professional practice, and a
strong research record with publications in top tier scholarly journals;
and
(c)	a substantial record and reputation as an accomplished teacher,
and be able to demonstrate evidence of effective classroom teaching
skills.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing
contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive.  Applicants should
