CONFERENCE: Fostering successful mechanisms to finance innovation
Padua, Italy
17-18 November 2005

Enterprise Europe, Brussels, 21 October 2005 - Veneto Innovazione - the
Venetian Regional Agency for Innovation - in close cooperation with the
PAXIS network (www.cordis.lu/paxis/src/start.htm), is organising a
conference to be held in Padua on 17-18 November entitled "Innovative
start-ups and early-stage finance: key challenges for policy and
business".

The event is addressed to local, regional and national decision makers,
business support representatives, financing organisations and other
players involved in start-up development, who want to strengthen
regional growth and innovation by providing the right financing context
and tools. The conference aims to achieve an improved understanding of
successful mechanisms to finance innovation through exchanges of
experience and the transfer of knowledge on how to set up and run
innovation-financing models.
