Call for Papers - International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal
(IEMJ)
Special Issue: Female, Rural and Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship

Issue 4, Volume 2 (December 2006) of the Journal will comprise a special
edition devoted to female, rural and ethnic minority entrepreneurship.
It has long been recognised that certain minority groups, such as female
and minority entrepreneurs and those in rural areas, may be
disadvantaged in respect of raising finance, developing management
skills and having access to information technology etc. Therefore, this
special issue of the journal will focus specifically on research into
female, rural and minority entrepreneurship. The editors of the special
issue, Nerys Fuller-Love and Professor Gary Akehurst would welcome
research articles on any aspect of these issues. In particular, they
would welcome articles on:

* Supporting diversity in enterprise policy
* Female entrepreneurship
* Small businesses in rural areas
* Ethnic and minority entrepreneurship
* Finance for minority entrepreneurship
* Management and technology skills for female entrepreneurs
* Social and community enterprises

Researchers interested in publishing in the special issue should
indicate their intention by sending an abstract (or preferably the full
paper) to Nerys Fuller-Love, School of Management and Business,
University of Wales, Aberystwyth, SY23 3DW, United Kingdom or email
nnf at aber.ac.uk preferably by 15 March 2006 and certainly no later than
15 April 2006. Abstracts should provide a short introduction to the
topic, an outline of the research methodology and a summary of the
findings. The special issue will include between 8 to 10 articles of up
to 7,000 words each. All authors will be required to follow the IEMJ
style guidelines (see http://www.uv.es/iemj/InstructionsForAuthors.htm).
