Liebe Abonent*innen des Newsletters, liebe Mitglieder der DGS-Sektion für Migration und ethnische Minderheiten,

Hiermit möchten wir Sie auf die anstehenden Vorstandswahlen der Sektion „Migration und ethnische Minderheiten“ hinweisen. Wenn Sie Interesse, Lust und Zeit haben, sich an der Vorstandsarbeit zu beteiligen, möchten wir Sie bitten uns mitzuteilen, ob Sie für den Vorstand kandidieren wollen. Sie können auch gerne ein anderes Mitglied unserer Sektion vorschlagen, wir bitten Sie jedoch darum, diesen Vorschlag vorher mit dem oder der Betreffenden abzustimmen. Bei Fragen zur Vorstandsarbeit kontaktieren Sie gerne die Vorstandsmitglieder der Sektion (Sie finden die Kontaktliste der Vorstandsmitglieder online auf unserer Website: https://soziologie.de/sektionen/migration-und-ethnische-minderheiten/ueber-die-sektion/vorstand). Die Frist für Kandidaturen ist der 12.06.2025. Der derzeitige Vorstand wird die interessierten Kandidaten bitten, kurze Selbstvorstellungen für die Wahlen im Juli vorzubereiten. Die Wahlen finden im September/Oktober 2025 statt. Wir freuen uns über Ihre Vorschläge!

Dear subscribers to the newsletter, dear members of the DGS Section on Migration and Ethnic Minorities,

We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming board elections for the ‘Migration and Ethnic Minorities’. If you are interested, motivated and have the time to participate in the work of the board, we invite you to let us know if you would like to run for a position. You are also welcome to propose another member of our section, but we ask that you discuss this proposal with the person concerned beforehand. If you have any questions about the work of the board, please contact the board members of the section (you can find the contact list of board members online on our website: https://soziologie.de/sektionen/migration-und-ethnische-minderheiten/ueber-die-sektion/vorstand). The deadline for nominations is 12 June 2025. The current board will ask the interested candidates to prepare short self-presentations for the elections in July. The elections will take place in September – October 2025. We look forward to receiving your suggestions!
