Liebe Mitglieder der Sektion Migration und ethnische Minderheiten der DGS,

Liebe Abonnent:innen des Newsletters,

auch in dieser Rundmail erhalten Sie aktuelle Informationen und Hinweise auf Stellenausschreibungen und Fellowships, Calls for Papers, Tagungen und Neuerscheinungen. Bitte beachten Sie auch die jeweiligen, z.T. bereits unmittelbar ablaufenden, Fristen.

Der neu gewählte Vorstand hat sich konstituiert und auf der Mitgliederversammlung am 16.12.2021 über die zukünftigen Aktivitäten gesprochen. Wir, Christine Barwick, Johannes Becker, Elifcan Karacan, Nadja Milewski und Catharina Peeck-Ho, freuen uns sehr auf die Sektionsarbeit.

Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bei den ausscheidenden Vorstandsmitgliedern Mathias Bös, Elisabeth Schilling und Ilka Sommer für ihr Engagement und ihre erfolgreiche Arbeit bedanken und hoffen, die Sektion ebenso erfolgreich und produktiv weiterzuführen.

Wir bedanken uns auch bei unserer studentischen Hilfskraft Salah El-Kahil für seine Unterstützung des ehemaligen Vorstands und freuen uns auf die weitere Zusammenarbeit mit ihm. 

Wir wünschen allen Sektionsmitgliedern und Abonnent:innen des Newsletters ein schönes neues Jahr 2022.

Dear members of the Migration and Ethnic Minorities Section of the DGS,  
Dear newsletter subscribers, 

With this mail you receive current information and references to job advertisements and fellowships, calls for papers, conferences and new publications. Please also note the deadlines, some of which are already about to expire. 

The new elected board has been constituted and discussed future activities at the first meeting on December 16, 2021. We, Christine Barwick, Johannes Becker, Elifcan Karacan, Nadja Milewski and Catharina Peeck-Ho, are very much looking forward to the Section work. 

We would like to thank the former board members Mathias Bös, Elisabeth Schilling and Ilka Sommer for their commitment and successful work and hope to continue the section just as successfully and productively. 

We would like to thank also our student assistant Salah El-Kahil for his support of the former board and look forward to working with him in the future. 

We wish all section members and newsletter subscribers a successful 2022.
