Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship

The Martha and Spencer Love School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in entrepreneurship beginning fall 2012.  Applicants should demonstrate evidence of effective undergraduate teaching, a well-established research agenda in entrepreneurship, and an interest in mentoring undergraduate students and teaching in the part-time MBA program.  Candidates with associate or full professor qualifications will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

Primary teaching will include entrepreneurship courses offered through our major and minor in entrepreneurship and courses in Elon’s General Studies Program along with potential to contribute to the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership which reaches out to students and faculty across campus.  The ideal applicant will possess a Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited university.

About the School:  The AACSB-accredited Martha and Spencer Love School of Business is housed in the Koury Business Center, which features state-of-the-art classrooms, multiple student engagement areas, the LaRose Digital Theatre, the Reed Finance Center, the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center, and the Porter Family Professional Development Center.  Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the school’s undergraduate program #60 in the nation overall, ranking it 19th on entrepreneurship, 26th on academics, and 22nd on sustainability.
